On the morning of July 10th, the launch ceremony of “Famous Teacher Public Class of 2021 Nishan Forum in Summer” was held in Jinan Library. Wang Jie, director of Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and professor of philosophy department of the Central Party School, delivered the first lecture with the title of “Life Wisdom Implied in Traditional Culture”. 

Wang Jie fully explained the enlightenment of the core value of traditional Chinese culture to the contemporary from four aspects: reading, behaving, moral education and filial piety. Teachers and students expressed that they had benefited a lot. And they have experienced the charm of traditional Chinese culture and absorbed wisdom and energy. All of them said they would practice and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture with practical actions.

Since the first public class was launched, it gained wide acclaim and aroused a warm social response. And it had more than 180,000 views and 100,000 likes. There were nearly 1,000 messages in the comments section: “What an excellent class!” “The topic is novel and the expert combines teaching with pleasure in lecturing. They infiltrate traditional culture into daily teaching so that children can learn the classics well and make good use of them.” “The Nishan Forum is a very significant measure to vigorously carry forward the traditional Chinese culture. With the promotion of social influence, it will certainly produce a broader effect.”

In 2018 and 2019, China Confucius Foundation has continuously launched the “Famous Teacher Public Class of Confucius Schools in Summer”, which has generated a good reputation. This year, Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies launched the “Nishan Forum” public cultural brand. As an important component, the “Famous Teacher Public Class in Summer” is shouldering the mission of promoting traditional culture into the campus, aiming to carry forward and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture.

The “Famous Teacher Public Class of 2021 Nishan Forum in Summer” invited well-known scholars to deliver high-quality courses on traditional culture for the vast number of teenagers. It will be broadcast live or recorded every Saturday from July to August at 9:00 am via China Confucius Net and Confucius Net APP and etc.
